"For me, reconciliation is ultimately about people, relationships, and the kind of country we choose to build together. Through the work of the Council, I hope to strengthen accountability, public understanding, and meaningful progress on reconciliation in Canada. I want to help create spaces for informed dialogue, shared responsibility, and trust-building between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. My hope is to contribute to reconciliation in a way that remains grounded in lived experience, measurable action, and long-term collective responsibility."
