Kluane Adamek – Aagé (she/her) is a citizen of Kluane First Nation and honours the Matriarchs who welcomed her into the Dakl’aweidi (Killer Whale) Clan. As her grandparents taught her, she walks in both worlds, carrying her First Nations and settler-Canadian ancestry. Her work in healing and reconciliation began as a young board member of the Aboriginal Healing Foundation. For nearly 20 years, she has advanced Indigenous rights and strengthened relationships among Indigenous Nations, governments, industry, and the broader Canadian public. From 2018 to 2025, she served as Assembly of First Nations Yukon Regional Chief. A business owner and Banff Centre faculty member, she serves on councils, boards, trusts, and committees. Above all, Kluane considers motherhood and raising the next generation her most important responsibility.
