This academic report summarizes key insights from 20 Indigenous and settler experts on the current state of reconciliation in Canada, 11 years after the release of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s (TRC) final reports. It is divided into three parts: first, focusing on some of the positive achievements in reconciliation; second, highlighting a selection of challenges impeding progress; and third, concluding with some recommendations for the National Council for Reconciliation.
